Artist Information

I am a professional artist living and working in Pune, India. Studied painting and graduated in fine arts from a reputed art college in India, Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya - Pune. Paintings seen in childhood at Shri Bhavani Museum, Satara inspired me to take up art education and explore career as a painting artist & designer. This museum collection includes paintings and sculptures of various well-known artists.

I have been working in design field from 23+ years now and have worked as Graphics designer in IT companies. I enjoy teaching art, painting and design. I have been working as visiting faculty in art institutes and also take private classes to guide students in preparation of their design portfolios.

I have participated in various group and individual painting exhibitions. My paintings reflect forms, shapes, colours, moods of nature and human emotions. You would often see beautiful clouds, colourful flowers, rain, fog, water, reflections, trees and sunsets in my work. I enjoy painting creative contextual illustrations using human figures and elements of nature.

I am comfortable working in acrylic, water colour and mix mediums on canvas, wood, and paper.

I also like to write poems in Marathi language and happy to share that my poems are published in two books.

Thank you !
